Objective: K Pax racing wanted to update the design of their winning Volvo S60 race car to match the styling of the new updated S60 design. Motive was in charge of completing the CAD design and tooling for the project.
Strategy: We had to be able to complete the design update within a tight timeframe and budget. This meant that we had to retain as much of the current vehicle as we could, while still achieving the objective. Careful attention had to be paid to new and old panel mating points, as well as airflow and aerodynamics.
Results: The vehicle is complete and is now making its way back into the race circuit to continue its winning career.
