Motive Announces Involvement on the Epic Electric Vehicles Torq Program
Calgary, AB – March 8, 2012 – Motive announces involvement on the Epic Electric Vehicles Torq Program.
“I think this vehicle will make quite an impact in the market, its design language and package are very unique and will provide a radical driver experience. Add in the serious performance factor and this vehicle is looking to be a real milestone in the evolution of the electric vehicle – and another great example of quality product from the West Coast” said Nathan Armstrong, President of Motive.
“Working on the design of this project I learned once again that we can still create striking unique automotive designs in such a saturated market of exciting vehicles. Epic will continue to be on the cutting edge of design with more creations like this. We can't wait to see what's next” said Motive’s VP of Design, Darren McKeage.
Motive contributed to the overall design ideation, completed the composite body and interior design and renderings using ALIAS and Bunkspeed, the chassis and detail modeling, tooling design using CATIA and provided supplier coordination for the program.
